OK I’ll be honest, Driffield wasn’t Team Thurston's biggest challenge. However, we did manage to vastly improve the brakes on Caroline’s tuned Series 3 by fitting a servo and giving it a set of twin leading shoe LWB front brakes.  Finally it anchors up as well as it goes.

In typical team Thurston style the guys got bored half way through and decided to spice things up by converting the SIII from Van to Station wagon and fixing the dreadful gear-change lever whilst they were at it.

All this counts as great practice for the Billing Show which is creeping up on us.  Here the team are to be presented with their greatest ever challenge. A Land Rover bought by LRO magazine and presented to us early on the Friday morning.  All we have to do it get it restored by the end of the weekend!
